This episode features Tina Goodrow, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, discussing working as a psychiatric mental health practitioner, finding her way, and helping others help themselves.
Dr. Goodrow is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in mental health, leadership, and education. At SMA Healthcare in Ocala, Florida, she provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents, including those in high-risk situations, through both clinic-based care and community outreach.
As a mentor and educator, she has provided comprehensive support to nursing students across all academic levels, fostering their professional growth and development. She has designed and implemented multiple training programs aimed at promoting violence prevention and enhancing safety within healthcare environments.
